improve it! Effective Communication Workshop (Members Only)

What you Say, and What You Don’t Say, Affects How Others Listen and Respond

Hosted by: Professional Development Advisory Group

Empirical evidence has shown that improvisational training has the ability to improve trust, teamwork, communication, presentation skills, and creative problem solving. We’re welcoming back the improve it! crew to facilitate a two-hour experiential workshop where attendees will participate in an interactive lecture and series of improvisation-based exercises led by professional improvisers. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned and practiced how to use verbal and non-verbal techniques to enhance interpersonal communication skills, quickly build rapport, and establish trust with others. After each activity, the improve it! team will debrief and then participants will write an action plan as a result of these activities in their workbook.
