Our first Investing in your Belly night was such a hit we've decided to do another! This time Michele Gambera, PhD, CFA, is leading us through a gnocchi cooking class. Homemade gnocchi really is worth preparing from scratch at home---inexpensive, vegetarian and impressively fluffy and flavorful. So grab some groceries, maybe a sous chef, and join us for another night of cooking and networking. Just like last time we'll kick off the night with a cocktail so if you're interested in testing your bartending skills as well, make sure to grab the ingredients for an Aperol Spritz. Chef Bio:
Michele Gambera, PhD, CFA, was born and raised in Italy. He has degrees from the University of Trento in Italy and from the Pennsylvania State University and has lived in Chicago since 1998. A former economist at the Chicago Fed, he worked at Morningstar for about 10 years and is now co-head of strategic asset allocation modeling at UBS Asset Management. He is an instructor in the Master’s in Financial Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and the Delegato for Chicago of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina, a Milan foundation promoting knowledge of Italian culture through gastronomy.
