Heather Brilliant, CFA, is Chief Executive Officer for Diamond Hill (Nasdaq: DHIL), a valuation-disciplined boutique asset manager. Diamond Hill offers active differentiated strategies across four key asset classes — US equity, international equity, alternatives and fixed income — in a range of vehicles. Heather oversees all aspects of the business including setting and delivering on the firm’s strategy, ensuring an unwavering commitment to client outcomes, cultivating a strong culture, and maintaining a sound investment philosophy. Heather is a strong advocate for creating diverse and inclusive cultures across the investment management industry.
Prior to joining Diamond Hill in 2019, Brilliant held executive leadership roles at Australian asset manager First Sentier Investors and Morningstar, including running Morningstar’s business in Australia/New Zealand, after spending over a decade in equity research. Brilliant has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Heather is a member of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) Board of Governors, serves on the Boards of ODW Logistics and Downtown Columbus Inc., and is a member of the Ohio Business Roundtable, Columbus Partnership, and the International Women’s Forum. She served on the board of governors of CFA Institute from 2013 to 2020, including chairing the board from 2018 to 2019, and is also a past Chair of the board of the CFA Society of Chicago.

Rachel Madsen is a director of institutional strategy and development at Loomis, Sayles & Company. In this role, she is responsible for business development in the corporate, endowment and foundation and healthcare channels in the Midwest. Rachel joined Loomis Sayles in 2023 from Franklin Templeton, where she was a senior vice president and institutional relationship manager. Previously, she was client relationship director and interim head of client services at Aviva Investors, served as a solutions strategist at LGIM America, and held various positions at Security Capital Research & Management, JP Morgan, William Blair & Company, AIM Investments, and UBS. Rachel earned a BA in economics and business from Westmont College. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Chicago.
