We’re kicking off our spring events by welcoming Jean Hynes, CFA, Managing Partner and incoming CEO at Wellington Management. Hynes, joins us for a fireside chat to discuss her career path, plans for the first 100 days as CEO and having to balance the responsibilities as CEO and leading the Vanguard Health Care Fund. As the first female CEO to lead the firm, Hynes will share her perspective on building her career in a male-dominated industry along with steps Wellington is taking towards diversity and inclusion. We’ll also be discussing a range of topics making waves in the industry including COVID from a healthcare portfolio manager perspective, what Wellington is doing within the sustainable investment space, private markets and more.
With 30 years of experience, Hynes’ accomplishments have gained recognition from the industry. She was named to Barron’s 100 Most Influential Women in US Finance in 2020 and The Hedge Fund Journal’s 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds in 2018. If you have a question for Jean, whether it be on her career path or Wellington’s future, here is your chance to ask as we’ll be taking questions from attendees!
