The COVID-19 pandemic has thrust video conferencing, virtual meetings, and remote work arrangements into the mainstream. But nearly a year into our mass experiment in virtual everything, many people – new hires and senior leaders alike – are still uncomfortable or would appreciate tips on how best to thrive with this medium of communication. As it turns out, there’s more to having a virtual meeting or making good impression at a virtual event than just giving your computer access to your camera and microphone.
Virtual meetings and events are here to stay, and it’s crucial for leaders and professionals to communicate with strength, polish, and confidence in this medium. This engaging and practical workshop will help you make quick and significant improvements to your video conferences and on-camera communication. We will cover practical, easy-to-implement strategies to increase your overall polish, boost engagement of those on the call, and work more effectively within this technology. Get ready to learn how to:
- Optimize your set-up and appearance to improve the quality, professionalism, and polish of your video conferencing
- Use specific on-camera communication techniques to boost engagement and connection
- Successfully moderate, facilitate, and participate in conversations and expert panels
