William T. Fitzpatrick, CFA, Managing Director, and Portfolio Manager at Logan Capital
Bill has 23 years of investment management experience. He is the lead portfolio manager for the Logan Concentrated Value (LCV), Logan Value, and Logan International equity strategies. Bill was formerly a Director and Senior Global Equity analyst at Manulife Asset Management and held similar positions at predecessor firms Optique Capital and Johnson Asset Management. He has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Business Administration from Villanova University. Bill currently serves as Immediate Past Chair of the CFA Society Chicago’s Board of Directors and also resides on the Board of Directors at Maryville Academy.
Stuart Winchester, CFA - Portfolio Manager
Stuart is a Hong Kong-based portfolio manager with Allianz Global Investors and a member of the Asia Pacific investment team. A highly experienced Asian equity portfolio manager, Stuart has spent a total of 40 years in Asia, the majority of them with AllianzGI, which he joined in 1992. Stuart has managed the firm’s Unconstrained Total Return Asia Pacific strategy since 1994. He is also responsible for an Asia Pacific Small Cap mandate as well as Hong Kong mandates in global equity and balanced funds. The representative account of a strategy managed by Stuart has won industry awards in Hong Kong and Singapore in several years during Stuart’s tenure (including 1998, 2004, 2006, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024) . Before joining AllianzGI, Stuart worked at Wood Gundy in Japan before transferring to Indonesia to run an affiliate joint-venture merchant bank. Stuart has a Master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, United States. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Richard deChazal, CFA - Economist
William Blair macro analyst Richard de Chazal, CFA, has over two decades of experience analyzing the U.S. economy and financial markets. He provides timely insights and commentary on the various high frequency economic indicators, actions of the Federal Reserve, and the financial markets. In addition, Richard provides cogent analysis of key macroeconomic topics and trends in his popular in-depth Economics Weekly reports.
Richard joined William Blair International, Ltd. in 2001. Prior to this, he worked for PaineWebber Intl. Ltd. in the London Economics Department, and UBS Warburg in the Global Investment Strategy Department. He has a wide range of experience across all areas of the financial markets, working with both institutional and retail clients and colleagues.
