Presenters:

Matthias Berning, CFA
, vice president, is a client advisor within the Funds Management Group at JP Morgan Asset Management. Berning is responsible for all aspects of business development for Chicago, IL, and the Twin Cities in MN. In this role Berning represents JPMorgan’s intellectual capital and investment solutions to premiere financial advisors at the major wealth management firms – Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, UBS and Wells Fargo. Berning is also a sought after public speaker on various topics related to capital markets, financial planning, and other investment areas typically engaging with end investors to help them make fact based investment decisions. Prior to joining JP Morgan Asset Management, Berning was a professional athlete with the National Football League. He began his career in finance as a corporate auditor for RSM International in Dusseldorf, Germany. Berning earned a B.S. in marketing and logistics management as well as an MBA in finance from Central Michigan University. He is a CFA charterholder and CAIA charterholder, and active member of CFA Society Chicago and the CAIA Association Chapter Chicago. He holds investment licenses Series 7, and 63. Berning is a native of Germany and currently resides in Chicago, IL with his wife, daughter, and two sons. 
 

Dan Bohle
is executive director, divisional sales manager at JP Morgan Asset Management. Bohle began with JPM in 2013, he currently leads a team of 16 Client Advisors in the Western half of the US. His team focuses on providing intellectual capital, and product solutions to Financial Advisors in traditional wire house firms. Prior to JPM, Bohle worked at BNY Mellon, where he ran all of internal sales – including building out a hybrid and independent broker dealer strategy. Bohle began his career at Lord, Abbett and Co., where he was as an Internal Client Advisor, and eventually a Client Advisor based in Minneapolis, MN. Bohle attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and holds a B.A. in business administration and political science. 
 

Matt Heintz, CFA, managing director, is the Head of North America Insurance Solutions at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In this role, Heintz  is responsible for delivering and overseeing J.P. Morgan's investment management and advisory capabilities to insurance clients. Heintz joined J.P. Morgan in 2013 from Cardinal Investment Advisors, where he was a managing director responsible for assisting insurance companies with asset liability modeling, investment manager selection, and performance measurement. His other key area of focus was insurance fixed income research. Prior to Cardinal, Heintz worked in the headquarters of Edward Jones Investments providing investment representatives with information on the firm's products and processes. Heintz received a B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago with concentrations in finance and accounting. He received his CFA charter in 2006.
