Kathleen O’Holleran has spent over ten years providing coaching and training to a variety of corporate clients at Lee Hecht Harrison, Inc. In this capacity, she has conducted numerous sessions in individual and group settings on topics including change management, job search, resume writing, social media, interviewing and entrepreneurship. She has individually coached clients that represent a variety of industries that includes consumer packaged goods, software/data systems, pharmaceutical, retail, international manufacture, telecommunications, banking and diverse financial services.
O’Holleran has always felt that one of the satisfactions she gets from her consulting role is the ability to meet and build relationships with professionals in diverse roles in Information Technology, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Human Resources, Supply Chain Leadership and Finance as they manage their career transition. She is certified in the Hogan Leadership assessment and has enjoyed seeing the factors that allow others to succeed in their career and their search. Although she has worked with individuals across all levels of responsibilities, she most often works with Senior Leaders as they plan and manage change in their careers.
Prior to starting at LHH, O’Holleran owned her own firm and provided independent marketing consulting as well as account representation for a Far East Asian based manufacturing company. During this time, she provided guidance to major United States retail, manufacturing and sales promotion companies on premium sales and product development. Extended marketing consulting engagements included work in the areas of strategic planning and online sales launch. Her customer base included McDonald’s, True Value, Fruit of the Loom, Sears and other leading Sports/ Licensed Apparel companies.
O’Holleran began her career at Sears Roebuck & Co. at their headquarters offices where she held positions of progressively increasing responsibility in the areas of human resources, marketing, merchandising, and retail buying. Her marketing assignments included promotional marketing manager of an $800 million market segment, retail field liaison positions communicating with more than 40 regions and 800 stores. As a retail category manager and buyer of a $120 million apparel line, O’Holleran selected, directed and negotiated with vendors in the United States, Asia and Africa. In her early career, O’Holleran acted as a human resource partner for five departments and over 300 employees.
