At the beginning of this century, investors allocated only $500 billion in AUM to private equity. Since then private equity has established itself as the highest performing asset class. In 2019, investors increased their allocations to over $5 trillion, funneling money into private equity and debt, as well as private real estate, infrastructure and natural resources funds.
Join CFA Society Chicago for the second part of its Capital Market Series where our panelists will discuss the differences in the variety and performance of the different asset classes within private markets, the impact of COVID-19 on this very broad asset class, and their outlook.
