Miss any of our Empowerment Series workshops? Here's your chance to learn about the topics you missed out on, at one event! You’ll get to participate in table discussions that cover the topics below. We are limiting registration for this event in order to provide smaller group settings that encourage you to be a part of in-depth discussions and give you the opportunity to engage in face-to-face interaction with the table hosts and your colleagues.
We would love to know what you’re interested in hearing the most about so please rank your table preferences during the registration process with Preference 1 being your top choice. Table seating will be first come, first served at the event and attendance at previous Empowerment Series events is not required. All our tables will be interactive sessions so be ready to get and give insight!
Taking Control of Your Career: Do you need help taking control of your career? This roundtable will focus on this topic, whether it’s getting to the next level, taking on more responsibility (advancing current role to more senior position), ensuring you get recognition you’ve earned, or simply getting more enjoyment out of your career. Join a table of peers to share tips, ask questions, and potentially build a network of people who can help strategize and evaluate the trajectory of your career path.
Negotiating: Whether negotiating compensation for a new position or a new contract for your firm, sharpening your negotiating skills can provide a major advantage. This table discussion will focus on key elements of successful negotiations and apply them to relevant situations applicable to the group sitting at the table. Don’t miss this opportunity to share tips, ask questions, and potentially build a network of people who can help strategize your next critical negotiation.
Personal Branding: Are you sending the right message and positioning yourself the way you want to be perceived? If you think you don’t have a personal brand or you’d like to develop better brand messaging for yourself and your career, this table discussion will review key takeaways covered at a recent personal branding session event and help you take control of your narrative. Whether it’s managing first impressions, avoiding misconceptions, or improving your image, this will be an interactive session on how to advocate for yourself and articulate your value through your personal brand.
Building Relationship Equity: It’s not about what you know, it’s about who knows what you know. At this table discussion we will be discussing how to improve your network by building meaningful relationships that could potentially help you advance your career. We will be talking about the differences between having a “Mentor” or a “Sponsor” and how this could impact your career. We will share practical approaches on how to actively start networking efficiently.
